This Valentine’s Day, I won’t be spending it with my boyfriend and that’s okay because whenever I see him, it’s Valentine’s Day everyday. Being in a long distance relationship for almost four years now, I’ve learned that distance is nothing when he means so much to me. When someone you love is worth fighting for, you’ll do everything you can to make it work. You’ll compromise and you’ll stay positive and patient.
I get asked and emailed weekly for advice and tips on how to make a long distance relationship work. To be honest, it’s not easy. It takes time, effort, and money. Being in a long distance relationship is expensive because you spend more on plane tickets/fuel to see each other. To me, just seeing my boyfriend is already the best Valentine’s Day gift I could ask for.
I think Valentine’s Day is another excuse to spoil one another and to dress up really (Haha). I love to dress up for special occasions because I rarely get to on the daily. So, when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas Day and in this case, a themed event – I’m ready to be dolled up to get in the spirit. I won’t be wearing a dress this Sunday, but I was happy to have the chance to wear this beautiful dress a few days ago to an event. I’m sharing this look book as I hope to inspire you ladies if you’re going for a night out with your partner this weekend!
