A few months ago, I met Norman and Linton. We quickly became good friends because they’re so easy going yet ambitious – they even helped me build my blog!
Norman and Linton were starting CROWNLUST, a local business in Vancouver selling temporary metallic tattoos (aka flash tattoos) and approached me for a photoshoot. I found it surprising that two guys were building a company focused on women’s fashion but they really put a lot of thought into their designs. I immediately fell in love with their Aerie tattoo sheet. It fits so well with my wanderlust.
The photoshoot was split over two days and had four style themes. I had so much fun shooting with them. Watch the videos below to see me being goofy with CROWNLUST! You can also check out the videos on their Instagram.
The first theme was a more casual style to showcase how the tattoos can be worn everyday just like jewellery. You can see me casually walking around cobble stoned streets and enjoying a café in Gastown, Vancouver.
The second theme was shot at Waterfront Station. It’s an old train station in Downtown, Vancouver to give the look of travelling to somewhere magical. The tattoos last 4 to 6 days, so they’re perfect for a weekend getaway or a trip to paradise.
MUSIC FESTIVALS! I loved going to Coachella and had this theme locked down. You’ve probably seen the tattoos at music festivals and if you’re going to one this year, try these out because they’re weightless and festive!
The sun was starting to set and made a dreamlike scene. I quickly slipped into something more elegant and can totally see how the tattoos will stand out at a wedding or girls’ night out.
If you’re looking for temporary metallic tattoos, get them from CROWNLUST. Join their passion for all that shines. I already have!
