Last Thursday, I went to Canadian fashion retailer Dynamite to preview their new Holiday collection. You know what’s so cool about attending these kind of events? Besides being the first to get a sneak peek of the newest collection? The opportunity to meet the team behind the brand and to network with other local fashion bloggers.
This is the second social media and preview event that I’ve attended this month. The other was Nordstrom’s cocktail party at Pacific Centre before their grand opening. At Dynamite’s, I got to reconnect with some of the different bloggers and social influencers that I had met at Nordstrom’s! There were also some new faces whom I hope to keep in touch for future collaborations. Alright, enough of me yapping (haha) and now you know what I’ve been up to lately. Of course, here are some photos taken by Dynamite’s photographer. Most of these are candid – so enjoy!
P.S. I’ve been keeping my agenda busy, so many more exciting things to come. To see more and be updated with my daily musings, follow me on Snapchat @boyuba ! You’ll definitely be the first to see everything before it gets posted on my other social media platforms. This week, I will be at Vancouver Fashion Week so be on the look out for those #VFW posts – coming soon!
I love the modern and clean layout of the store. What do you think? I will have to admit that this is my favourite Dynamite store in Vancouver. So if you get the chance, check out Dynamite location at Pacific Centre.
First thing I noticed when I walked into the store was the faux fur vests, fringe dresses, glitz tops, leather pants and plaid tops. All the essential must-haves for Fall!
I stumbled upon these three glam dresses hanging on these glass racks. I cannot choose just one…but why choose one when you can choose all three – one for three different occasions?
This is the part where I learned more about Dynamite’s exciting new initiative that the brand has launched: a collection with Fafa Khan as their inspiration. I’m not from Montreal so I’m not familiar with this talented artist and DJ, but I know that she reflects today’s modern woman: accomplished, preserving and strong. To read and learn more about Fafa Khan and the #IAMDYNAMITE movement, check out dynamiteclothing.com.
There’s me holding the faux fur vest and debating with another blogger friend to see if I should get this vest or not. After trying it on, I ended up purchasing this new piece from the Winter collection. It was too cute and cozy to pass so I guess it has a new home in my closet this Fall!
Once again, thank you Dynamite for having me and for the sweet gift bag. Looking forward to seeing how different people style the new collection, especially the faux fur. I will style this faux fur when the weather gets colder, so stay tuned.
