Raincouver Isn’t So Bad

I hear my Vancouverites complain about the rain all the time and in my personal opinion, Vancouver could be the most perfect place to live in the world if it weren’t for the rain. Of course, you can’t change that, but you can certainly cope with the weather! Here are my tips on dealing with the rain:

1) Invest in a good umbrella
2) Buy a pair of boots
3) Layer your clothes

Lastly, have a positive mindset and embrace the rain. Don’t let the gloomy and dark clouds stop you from having an amazing day like that famous saying: “Rain or shine, it’s going to be a beautiful day!” It seriously is all about how you choose to see your day.

The other day, the rain poured heavily and I chose to go out and meet my blogger friend, Mitra for a coffee date and a quick outfit shoot. I met Mitra at Dynamite VIP Event last month and we’ve kept in touch since.

As a first date, we decided to meet at Waterfront and grab some Starbucks latte. You already know ladies, we were here for their holiday drinks – DUH (Haha)! We then spotted a cool area to shoot right outside the Convention centre with the buildings as a backdrop, so here it is! If you’d like to see the photos I took of Mitra’s, check out her blog – I’m sure you’ll love her fashion sense, as I do! 🙂
