With festival season coming up, Coachella is just around the corner – upcoming next weekend! To those who are going, you’re probably in search for some cute and comfortable pieces to put together a killer outfit. There are many outfit inspirations out there that you can recreate with maxi dresses, floral rompers, boho tops and kimonos. The choices are endless and with so many stores displaying all these fun Coachella pieces – it’s quite a decision!
My advice is to choose carefully and to choose what’s comfortable. There are three things that I learned from going to past music festivals and you need to take notes:
Wear what’s comfortable – you’ll be dancing throughout the night and the last thing you want to worry about is having to pull up your pants constantly or fixing the straps of your top.
Never wear sandals – you are going to get stepped on by others, especially those crazy party ravers. They don’t give a damm about your feet when they’re in their zone.
Don’t wear rompers – think about going to the bathroom…not the most fun at all.
Putting together a festive look is definitely a huge part of the fun! It can be done quick with pieces that you already have in your closet – such as throwing together an easy outfit with a pair of short and a tank top. You don’t need to spend a huge amount of money for a brand new outfit just for the event, when the ticket itself is already expensive.
As you can see, I am wearing high-waisted shorts, a black tank with a bralette and combat boots. All I did was accessorize the outfit with a hat, metallic tattoos and bangles. I’m now in the Coachella spirit and ready to go!
