Downpour Darling

Updated: Dec 7, 2019

The weather’s been so unpredictable in Vancouver these days that it’s hard to decide on an outfit. And how do you dress for bi-polar weather?

1. Layer Up Always carry a light outerwear such as a cardigan or a denim jacket that you can easily throw on when it gets chilly and taken off when it gets warm. It’s better to be prepared and have that extra layer on hand in case you catch a cold! The last thing you want is to get sick in the Summer.

2.Wear Shoes I love to put on a cute pair of sandals, heels or flats when Summer rolls in but since the weather has been so unpredictable – I’ve been incorporating more sneakers into my outfits, which help prevent wet feet (gross!). My go-to shoes are these Native Apollo Moc XL pigeon grey/stripes shoes that I’m wearing, which I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on!

3. Throw on some pants Pants are not my first choice but I always wear pants whenever the skies look grey just to be safe, especially in the evening time because we all know how cold Vancouver’s weather can get.

How do you dress for bi-polar weather? I would love to know!
